Procedures and best practices for playing at the Meadows during the Covid-19 pandemic.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the situation with a COVID-19 positive employee. Be assured that the clubhouse has been sanitized and any bar and grill employee that we feel may have been in contact with the co-worker who tested positive, have been tested and are negative.

As we continually work through the current COVID-19 virus pandemic, we want you all to know that we are working toward an operating system that will allow for the use of our great facility as well as maintaining a safe environment for both our customers and staff alike. After several days of collecting "best practices" from facilities across the country our daily operations will be as follows:

Procedures and Best Practices

Covid-19 Update Beginning on Monday, July 6th:

  • We will continue to follow all CDC and state regulations concerning COVID-19 safety protocol, including but not limited to: wearing masks, extra sanitation protocols, and proper social distancing with coworkers and our guests.
  • The bar and grill will be open for carry-out purchases only.
  • The golf shop will remain closed to public traffic.
  • Check-in and any golf shop purchases can be made at the window located at the west end of the building.

As a reminder, the following procedures remain in place:

  • Tee times are required. No walk -in traffic will be allowed.
  • Carts will be sanitized after each use.
  • Scorecards and pencils will be issued by request only.
  • Flagsticks are not to be touched at any time.
  • Bunker rakes and ball washers will not be available for use.
  • Drinking fountains will not be available. The pop machine located next to the maintenance building will remain available.
  • All golfers are encouraged to refrain from touching or borrowing another players equipment, golf balls, ball markers, etc. Please be sure to maintain social distancing with other players in your group when possible, and be sure to maintain your social distancing with players who are not in your foursome.
  • The foam wrapping around the pins will be removed and a new E Z Lyft system installed. Please see the below video below for proper use of this system. Please be cautious when using E Z Lyft - as you can imagine these systems are in high demand and replacements parts will be difficult to obtain. Individuals responsible for damage of this system will be charged the replacement cost. Thank you for your care of this new system.

  • Beverage cart service will be available when appropriate. Cart will be stationary to limit multiple contacts with customers.
  • The patio will be open (at 50% capacity) for tables of no more than (6) people per table. Social distancing of 6 feet between tables will remain in effect.
  • Carts will be allowed to have (2) riders.
  • Carts will now need to be returned by 8:00 p.m. daily for proper sanitation.
  • All other golf course and sanitation procedures not related to the above changes will remain in place.
